Jacob was six on Friday. Six! How did that happen? It feels like only yesterday that he was a tiny baby. We didn't have a party this year, Mark had the day off and we said to Jacob that he could pick how he wanted to spend the day. He chose to go to McDonalds for breakfast with Olivia - to have a bowl of Nutri Grain!!! Well what ever makes him happy works for me LOL! I might have appreciated a slightly later and warmer start to the day... it was 5 degrees at 8.00 am ... but we had said that he could choose, so Macca's for breakfast it was.
We met up with Mark's family for lunch and birthday cake and then headed home to play with the new Lego. It was a nice, relaxing family day and Jacob told me he was really happy because he " had time to play with his new stuff".
So of course if there has been a birthday there has to be layouts.... This first one is Jacob and Olivia at breakfast. I met Olivia's Mum at a New Mothers group at the child health clinic when Jacob was 8 wks and Olivia was 6wks old... and now our families are the best of friends and our babies are six.
