I love this girl, even if she challenges me more than I ever thought possible, and surprises me every day. Today has been a day with happy moments, some smiles, some grumpiness, some defiance and some tears. The boy munchkin has gone to a friends for a sleepover, his first ever other than with family, and the tears were about missing him... even though they fought all morning! We cheered her up with a lounge room picnic and DVD, just three of us for a change snuggling on the couch.
It's raining here tonight, something we desperately need. So even if it is cold and miserable... I'm loving the sound of rain falling on our roof.
