Lazy Sunday at the park...

Today it actually stopped raining, the sun came out and we went to the park. It was still cold, but hey you can't have everything.
Met up with Jamie, one of Jacob's school friends and his brothers and sisters... six kids aged from 3 to 14, chaotic but heaps of fun. It was actually a pretty easy day for me as the two older girls took Bianca under their wings... they pushed the swing, played hide and seek and generally ran around after her.
Spent three and a half hours at the playground, fishing, bike riding, shooting hoops and just having fun. Had some fish and chips for lunch and a quick trip to the supermarket on the way home. I just love lazy Sundays.

Jacob is back to school tomorrow for one day before the Anzac Day public holiday. He has a free clothes day as a fundraiser, so tonight it took him half an hour to decide what to wear tomorrow. All I can say is thank heavens he has a uniform for the rest of the week, no way I could stand this every night LOL!

My night has been taken up with folding washing, ironing, cutting lunches and packing backpacks. Didn't get any layouts done today, but did get some photos... the fishing was unsuccessful by the way.

Jacob had a wonderful day. Jamie was the first friend Jacob made at school, on the first day of kindergarten and they have been great buddies ever since. Until today we haven't spent any time with him out of school... so they were both very excited to see each other. Good to see my boy forming some friendships.

Hope you all had a good weekend... more later.
