Cats was wonderful! I last saw it 19 years ago and it was still as amazing as I remembered. Headed up the coast with my friend after it had finished. We had sent both our hubbies and munchkins off ahead of us in the morning, the guys were planning on putting the roof on the extension currently being built while the kids played! We were not without some trepidation as to how tired, dirty and sunburnt the munchkins would be when we arrived or what state the house would be in. But we were pleasantly surprised, the only sunburt person was Mark who faithfully applied sunburn to both kids but forgot about himself on the roof! The house only needed a two minute straighten up and the munchkins were clean enough to head off to the local pub for dinner.
After dinner, we went back and rugged up, collected torches and a bucket and went crab hunting. It was a gorgeous night, not a breath of wind, moon was out and we found half a bucket of crabs for the kids to ooh and aah over... and name them all and cry over when we had to return them to the sea this afternoon. Of course all this adventure meant that the little people didn't actually get to bed until 10.15 pm on Saturday night, so today we had some tired, but thankfully not too grumpy heads. Nice lazy day today before heading home and that was the weekend done. Hope yours was as relaxing as mine :)
